Description

Slovak University of Technology (STU) involves 7 faculties: Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Elecrical Engineering and Information Technology, Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Materials Science and Technology and Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies. STU is the most representative body in Slovakia in the field of research and application of all branches of technology. The University is capable to solve the most complex projects of basic and applied research. STU has a wide scientific cooperation with the partners all over the world and the laboratories take part in a number of national and international scientific projects.

Staff of the University is 3230 people. The number of full-time research workers is 332, the total FTE research capacity of the University is 1700 people. The number of students is 14100.
